Travelogue - Cayman Islands Furniture

I just returned from a wonderful trip with my husband to the Cayman Islands - a place that was never on our bucket list but turned out to be a wonderful destination.  Although I must admit that furniture and furniture styles were also not on the top of my list of must sees, I am always inspired by my surroundings and will have to put together some pieces of refurbished upholstered furniture to commemorate this great voyage.   I already have some fabrics selected - more on that in a future blog.

I did pick up a magazine called InsideOut - Cayman's Home and Living Magazine and read it cover to cover.  website for magazine. The international flavor of the various decors was as interesting as the subdued caribbean flavors.   We stayed in two locations - the Morritts Resort Club on the East Side (a timeshare facility) and the Marriott Beach on famous 7 Mile Beach.   Both had their individual charms reflecting the quieter side of the island as well as the bustling areas around the capital George Town and the multiple resorts along the famous beach coastline.

The Cayman Islands have a lot to offer and far more than the beach and water scene it is so famous for - although those are pretty spectacular.

  1. My friend has just bough a small house in Grand Cayman and is looking for some of the best Cayman furniture, like bedroom, dinning room, living room and garden furniture. He is very interested in visiting showrooms in or around Grand Cayman.
